Coated Films

coated filmsCoated films offer unique properties such as excellent moisture, oxygen, flavor and aroma barriers. BOPP and PET films are the most commonly used base films. These films are coated with PVDC (polyvinylidene chloride) and/or Acrylic. The general characteristics of these films depend on the type of coating material used. PVDC coated films have excellent moisture, oxygen, flavor and aroma barrier properties. Acrylic coated films also have great flavor and aroma barrier properties and good heat seal strength.
