MAP (modified atmosphere) Packaging

Modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) is a packaging system that involves changing the gaseous atmosphere surrounding a food product inside a pack, an employing packaging materials and formats with an appropriate level of gas barrier to maintain the changed atmosphere at an acceptable level for preservation of the food.

We offer lidding film products that can be used for MAP applications.

These are high barrier films that will prevent any gases flushed into packages from escaping. This will help keeping your product fresh longer

We offer different types of MAP lidding films, such as:

  • Peelable.
  • Reclosable.
  • Microwavable.
  • Dual Ovenable.
  • Shrink.
  • Printed
