Seeking qualified Logistician w/master’s or foreign equiv in Global Logistics or supply chain with 12 months of work experience to Identify logistics areas for process improvement and cost savings to ensure expectations are met. Determine profitable shipping routes and arrange and manage the process of freight transportation. Design and implement logistics plans, collaborate with associates to improve efficiency, productivity and processes. Develop or maintain payment systems to ensure accuracy of vendor payments. Responsible for logistics budget center; maintaining cost analysis reports. Write or revise standard operating procedures for logistics processes. Interpret data on logistics elements such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management or transportation.
