It is important for the environment and our future to develop renewable and sustainable solution alternatives to petrochemical resins.

Current rigid trays are made from petrochemical resins such as PP, PE, PET, PS, PVC. These products, as derivatives of petroleum, are neither renewable nor sustainable nor compostable and they take a very long time to decompose in landfills.

Our polylactic acid (PLA) films and trays are made from corn or rice starch. These are renewable sustainable sources as we can easily grow more. These films and trays are compostable.

Our pulp trays are made out of paper pulp and are 100% compostable and renewable.
